Acro classes have a new class and new levels! New this year is the Acro/Jazz Combination class. We now have 4 levels of Acro! Please check with the studio to confirm what level your student will be this year!
New Class Addition - Beginning Acro on Tuesday's at 5:00pm!
Acro/Jazz Combo (Wed.) - Average Age 5-6
NEW! This class will work on both Acro and Jazz skills at a basic level to introduce students to these fun styles of Dance. Acro will include basic tumbling, like foward rolls and handstands. Jazz works on basic technique and fun music to dance too! This class is the beginning level Acro and Jazz class. Class meets once a week for 60 minutes.
Advanced Acro - Average Age 12-18
The Advanced Acro class begins with warm ups and stretches. Students will learn advanced acrobatic and tumbling skills with a strong focus on running skills, spotted skills, and combinations of skills in this class. Mats and other equipment are used in this class. Students need to have mastered the Intermediate level skills with correct technique to join this class. The class length is 60 minutes once per week.
Beginning Acro (Tues.) - Average Age 7-11
Acro Class is a great way for students to work on strengthening and stretching their bodies! They do basic tumbling on the mats and learn basic tricks. The class length is 60 minutes once per week.
Intermediate Acro - Average Age 9-13
The Intermediate Acro class begins with warm ups and stretches. Students will learn more advanced acrobatic and tumbling skills while working on the foundations for running skills and basic combinations. Spotted skills will be performed in this class and students will also focus on body awareness, proper technique, strengthening exercises, and flexibility. Mats and other equipment are used in this class. The class length is 60 minutes once per week.
